MAKING SPACE :
more room for you
an online meditation workshop for women
Sunday, June 7
10 am - 12 pm PST
Meditation can be a little bit…heady.
Maybe you can relate.
Most of the women I know are probably much like you: busy, in both body and mind. Planning. Creating. Managing. Making freakin’ miracles.
But within all of the thinking and doing, where are you, actually?
Do you ever wonder…what else is there? What else is there?
Meditation can be a powerful tool for clearing and centering the mind. Maybe it’s been on your list of to-do’s.
But even meditation, is it just another mental exercise? Is it all in your head? Another thing to get right?
Can you feel it? Does it do anything?
What about the whole of you?
What if meditation wasn’t just another good idea or another way to self improve, but a way to make…
more room for you?
Please join me for MAKING SPACE, an online meditation workshop for women.
Over two hours on Zoom we’ll explore:
Meditation as a way of making more space for you.
Beyond all the planning, effort and getting somewhere of our lives, there is something else.
A natural capacity and creativity stirring.
We’ll look at meditation from the simple, extraordinary perspective of making space for ourselves.
Opening up versus narrowing in. Allowing versus coercing. Seeing what else is alive and available within.
Meditation as both rest and strength.
Feeling into the nervous system, we’ll look at meditation as an opportunity for the rest and renewal our bodies and minds so desperately need.
We’ll look at meditation as agency, as a choice we can make to reclaim the power of our own energy and attention.
Taking meditation into real life.
Yes, a daily 20-minute meditation practice is great.
And also, there are principles and practices of meditation you can do just about anywhere at any time to great effect.
We’ll keep it real, starting small and in the body, to see how it might feel to walk through life with more space.

Come as you are!
expectations can be tricky…
STILL, YOU CAN EXPECT:
To experience what meditation feels like in your body, perhaps in a new and interesting way.
To learn a few principles you can apply anywhere, anytime to remember yourself even when things get rocky.
A playful, interactive approach. The real wisdom (and fun) lies in our shared experience.
To write! Working with prompts, we’ll let words flow in an easy, lighthearted way aimed at giving voice to the quiet space within.
To leave with a little more curiosity around your own lived experience.
a little ABOUT ME:
Hi, I’m Christa.
For years I’ve had the line on my copywriting website: I meditate daily and I also swear too much. I probably need a new line, but those facts remain true.
The point being: I’m a deep thinker and a big feeler, and I also try not to take myself too seriously.
At fifty-fabulous, I’m starting to make sense of the fact that I was put here to make sense of thoughts and feelings, not just for myself but for others. I do that mostly through writing and meditation, practices that ground my sanity and give shape to my life.
I recently completed meditation teacher training and am eager to share some of the most useful bits I’ve learned.
More than that, I’m eager to stretch myself and connect with you in a real and meaningful way that nourishes us both. ❣️
